Knowledge is power they say. Hence we decided to tell you the biggest enemies of weight loss. Whether you are overweight, or struggling to lose some weight, or actually possess the perfect ripped core, you can't ignore these horrible ways which can make you put on weight like no other. Avoid these fat-traps and you will thank us.

Binge Drinking

No surprise, right? Alcohol will make you fat. And extra alcohol will make you fat extra fast. If you're going out drinking on the weekends, it's obvious you won't stop at one drink. Add to that the peanuts, pizzas or the chicken wings. So you see the culprit? Here's a better solution: limit alcohol to one or two a night. That too occasionally.

Eating Out

Who doesn't like that fancy Chinese meal at the restaurants? But if you fancy it every night, then there's a problem. If you are victim of the fast-food fare, then we would like to tell you that you are packing in at least 1000 calories extra every day. Hence turn to your own kitchen instead of the restaurant.

Drinking Juice

Until and unless they are sugarfree, fresh juice squeezed out at home, it's not doing you any good. Drinking juice as a healthy option is only a myth, as it contains way too many carbs and fructose that will get the weight meter ticking. Instead, opt for green tea or milk. Loading Up On

The Wrong Protein

Sure, protein is a good way to build muscles. But protein-rich foods also contain high amounts of saturated fat and calories. Hence, loading up on immense amounts of red meat may take you ahead on the path of obesity. Instead, choose leaner sources of protein, and that too consume them in moderation.

Eating Too Much Carbs

Carbs have the enemy of weight-management for a long time. Dangerous in terms of fat gain, carbs can quickly cause your insulin levels to soar, which makes the body into a fat-storing machine. Unless you are working out equally to keep the carbs at bay, it advisable to consume carbs at a moderate level and balance them out with lean protein too.
