The Mosaicultures Internationales de Montreal horticultural competition features more then 40 three dimensional living sculptures
They have been created by over 200 horticultural artists from Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa
The sculptures are made from an estimated arrangement of over three million flowers and plants
Set in the grounds of Canada's Montréal Botanical Garden the display covers an area over one mile
Some of the designs which can be as large as 50ft - include a chameleon...
...a family of peacocks...
...a family of chimpanzees...
...a water buffalo...
...and a replica of an Easter Island statue
All works presented must represent something of the participant's culture while responding to a predefined theme
The exhibition will run till 29 September 2013
